Virtual Argentine Wine Tasting and Concert

Calling all wine connoisseurs, foodies, cheese enthusiasts, and Symphony lovers! Join us for our fourth Baton Rouge Symphony Virtual Wine and Cheese Tasting Fundraiser! This event is hosted by your Baton Rouge Symphony, in collaboration with Martin Wine & Spirits. Back by popular demand, Carolina Bistue, Winemaker at Bistue Cellars will lead you through a tasting of two Argentine wines - Calathus Chardonnay 2018, Valle de Uco, Mendoza and Calathus Gran Corte 2017, Valle de Uco, Mendoza. Tune in as she answers any questions you might have about wine, winemaking, and viticulture. Susan Anderson from Martin Wine Cellar has paired each wine with cheese and other Argentine inspired accoutrements. The tasting will be accentuated with 3 Argentine influenced performances by BRSO principal cellist Molly Goforth and principal keyboard Richard Jeric.

Attendees will be sent a private Zoom link prior to the virtual guided tasting held on Thursday, March 4th, 6:30pm. Each purchase includes a tasting kit that comprises two bottles of wine, cheese, and accompaniments for up to 4 people.

Tasting kits may be picked up at Martin Wine Cellar, 1670 Lobdell Ave starting Tuesday afternoon, March 2.
