Its programs include a Symphony League, a Symphony Chorus, and the Louisiana Youth Orchestras. The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra also reaches over 7,000 young people per year while conducting numerous education and outreach programs.

Our Vision  —  to expose and educate the Baton Rouge community to orchestral music by:

• Expanding our Discovery concert series to reach over 12,000 students annually.   Learn More

• Providing mentorship programs (K-12) where students will have personal access to professional musicians.

• Expansion of our cross-curriculum chamber music programs in the classroom.

• Providing a gateway for new audience members to learn and develop a lifelong love for orchestral music.

Founded in 1949, the Baton Rouge Symphony League inspires community support for the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra through a wide range of innovative fundraising events, educational programs and hands-on projects. The League is one of the largest sources of financial support for the BRSO with contributions exceeding one million dollars to date. Over 250 members come from all sectors of the community.
